October 2008 HBOS and Cancer Research UK are celebrating 20 years of a successful partnership and the launch of a charity credit card.
Since 1998 the Cancer Research UK credit card has raised over £12million from card donation. The charity card has proved to be the most popular card of its type with more users than any other charity card.
The Cancer Research UK credit card offers 0% on both balance transfers and purchases for 9 months and makes a £20 donation to Cancer Research the first time the card is used. Further donations are made based on all purchases made with the charity card.
“Our partnership with HBOS has been hugely successful. The money raised in the past twenty years has played a vital role in helping us fund the charity’s research into the causes and treatments of all forms of cancer,” said Paul Farthing from Cancer Research UK.
